By NABC 2021 Marketing & Communication

“It is not my prayer that you save me from all perils – I pray that I should not fear when faced with odds.” This famous poetry of Rabindranath Thakur gives us courage and will to survive when in trouble`. North American Bengali Conference (NABC) organizers are moving ahead with Bengali art and cultural programs during the US Independence Day weekend – July 2 to 4, 2021. It is their humble effort to bring some relief to the global diaspora while raising funds for Bengal. This year’s event will not be meant for sheer entertainment; rather the excess donation money collected through this effort will be utilized to fight out second wave of COVID-19 in Bengal. Let us join hands in this endeavor.

NABC has already transferred US $15,000 to the Rotary Club and Mukti Foundation for COVID-19 relief effort. Here is an appeal to all of you to donate for the NABC Global Relief Fund.

This year’s NABC or Banga Sammelan will be held on a virtual reality (VR) platform. All excess money from this event will be donated to help Bengal’s COVID-19 relief. Similar to last year’s Hope 2020 to address Amphan and 1st wave of COVID-19, NABC is committed to take every effort to raise relief funds.

The event will be live from July 2 to 4, 2021. You can watch them at your own pace using computer, smartphone or tablet. Due to lockdown in Bengal, some of the production shoots are being delayed. However, NABC is getting ready to deliver an entertainingpackage of programs even in the midst of crisis. Here is a glimpse of some of the happening programs.
